I am fortunate to have inherited many family pictures from my grandmother and my aunt. I found a lot of my pictures of my great grandmother, Laura Belle Roberts who was born January 30, 1865 and died June 8, 1930. She was the daughter of Archibald Ruddle Roberts and Lucinda Montgomery and wife of Calvin Douglas Morgan. Here are some of the pictures I have of her. Enjoy. And when you are done pop back to Wordless Wednesday and 5 Minutes for Mom to see more. And don't forget my other blog, Sand Between My Toes.

Doesn't take much to figure out this is not a woman to be trifled with!
Reminds me of my own great gran... tough as a rubber nail.

What a great inheritance! Priceless! My parents are so stingy with photos they have all of our childhood pictures. I really, really wish I had my own pictures!
What a treasure -- both the photos and the strength you undoubtedly inherited (perhaps, from what I've read here, along with some more colorful qualities!)
BTW -- a friend sent this link to me, have you seen it?

In that first one, the little girl looks like she doesn't want Laura Belle to touch her! lol
It's fun seeing all of these. I hope you are putting all the scans on a disc for us to save.
Thanks!
Old pictures are so amazing!
